Hi! Welcome to Barva!

My name is Olena. I paint and collaborate with my friend to create stickers and cards from antique books, my friend’s illustrations, and my own paintings. After many years of struggling, I finally decided to share my work, especially my birds, with others.

My brand is inspired by everything you see in the forest. When I work, I try to imagine a library in the woods, full of antique books. The name Barva means color in Ukrainian, and it's at the heart of everything I make. I am obsessed with Indigo and how deep it is; I use it everywhere in my underpaintings. I wanted to prove that life always has color, whether at night or in the day, and that every season is beautiful.

This is a brand for everyone who loves the forest, for those of us who belong among the woods.
